We are also within an hour’s distance of Bolsover and Peveril Castle, both English Heritage owned properties. Don’t forget the historic town of Bakewell, famous for its variety of markets. Decide if you prefer Bakewell tart over Bakewell pudding or take a brewery tour at Thornbridge Brewery.
Matlock Bath plays host to the Heights of Abraham and Gulliver’s Kingdom, both are a family friendly day out. The rollercoasters of Alton Towers are within driving distance for the adrenaline seekers among you.
